Synopis A strange machine chimes hard on a piece of paper that starts to fill up with raised dots. The hands of the man doing the work can be seen: writing the scores of a composition in braille.
The Symphonic Band of the Blind began to take shape in 1939 from within the National Board of the Blind, it is a slightly different orchestra than others. The musicians are blind.
Eleven boys between the ages of eleven and fourteen were recruited in the early 40s for the original training, since they shared the same dream. Everyone knew that the future was the Band, their dignity depended on belonging to it.
The National Symphonic Band of the Blind was created by Maestro Pascual Grisolia, which now bears his name and is a unique organism of the world. However mischievous, today it is one of the most dramatic moments in its history. Basilio, the last of the boys that formed part of the band.THE LAST MAN is a journey through the life of the musicians who grew up under the auspices of the National Association for the Blind works in Buenos Aires since 1892. It is a film about the founding and current status of the Symphonic Band of the Blind of the Republic of Argentina.
